The Asus BLITZ Extreme motherboard shows off its power here in SiSoft Sandra. The memory bandwidth results are nice and high. Looks like there's a bit more umph from DDR3, let's see what it does for the other benchmarks.

SuperPI calculates the number PI to 1 Million digits in this raw number crunching benchmark. The program allows the user to change the number of digits of PI that can be calculated from 16 thousand to 32 million. Our benchmark is set to 1 Million digits and 19 iterations.

The Asus BLITZ Extreme completes Super Pi's 1 million digit test in 19 seconds which is on par with the other DDR3 motherboards tested.
