Quite a different result in this DX9 benchmark. The MSI R3870X2-T2D1G-OC videocard actually bests the Palit HD 4870 X2 test card here. 3DMark06 does not gain any apparent benefit from crossfire setups that involve more than two GPUs, as both HD 4870 X2 and HD 3870 X2 test cards gained no ground at all when doubled up. They were still head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the pack though. On to the real gaming benchmarks.
