The orange slots are for
PCI Express connectors (2x) PCI Express x1, one PCI Express x16, the lime green
slots are for standard 32-bit PCI devices. The white slot at the far left is
designed for a DVI-I daughter card which is not supplied.

Because there's no Southbridge on the Biostar 8200,
the four USB headers are where you'd usually find the SATA ports.
This could make cabling a little messy.

The Biostar
TF8200 A2+ has four 240-pin DDR2 memory DIMM slots which accommodate 8GB of
DDR-2 1066/800/667/533 RAM. Populate the DIMM slots of the same colour
first, for dual channel memory. To the left of the DIMM slots is the main 24
pin ATX power connector.
|
The simple heat pipe design used on the Biostar TF8200 A2+ is designed
to take advantage of active CPU cooling.
|
Physical power and reset buttons are a
welcome sight on a budget motherboard, and make setting the board up
without installing it into a system an easy task.
