wPrime uses a recursive call of Newton's method for
estimating functions, with f(x)=x2-k, where k is
the number we're sqrting, until Sgn(f(x)/f'(x)) does not equal that of the
previous iteration, starting with an estimation of k/2. It then uses an
iterative calling of the estimation method a set amount of times to increase the
accuracy of the results. It then confirms that n(k)2=k to ensure the calculation was correct. It repeats
this for all numbers from 1 to the requested maximum.
Lower
calculation times are better. wPrime is multi-threaded.

Wprime fills in where SuperPi leaves off by allowing
PCSTATS to stress one core, or any number of cores up to the total amount in the
processor. The most important result set to pay attention to is the final block
of results for all threads.
With all four threads unleashed, the 3.6GHz AMD Phenom
II X4 975 BE system out performs the Intel Core i5 750 with a time of 10.842.
The 975BE is a hair slower than the eight-threaded Core i7 920 which posts a
result of 9.766 seconds.
Next up, ScienceMark 2.3 and Cinebench R10...
