360-Degree Motherboard Gallery:
The full
compliment of integrated graphics options at the rear I/O of the Intel DH67BL
motherboard come via the Intel H67 chipset and Intel HD 3000 graphics core.
The HDMI 1.4 port is good to resolutions of
1920x1200 and the DVI-I port to 1920x1200 (WUXGA). Intel did not include an Analog VGA port on this motherboard to service older CRT monitors. However, a DVI-to-VGA adaptor can be used since this
is a DVI-I connector, not a purely digital DVI-D port. Analog resolutions are
supported to 2560x1600.
The HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) port provides an all-digital
audio/video interface to transmit uncompressed HDCP compliant signals, Dolby
TrueHD or DTS HD Master audio.
The Intel DH67BL motherboard features one PCI Express 2.0 x16
slot for upgrading. It will run a single videocard in x16 mode.
Remaining expansion slots on this mATX board include two PCI
Express 2.0 x1 slots and a legacy PCI slot. A single dual-slot wide videocard
will only block the first PCIEx1 slot.
Along the bottom edge of the Intel DH67BL motherboard are headers for the
following: Front panel audio, SPDIF out and four USB 2.0 brackets.
There's not lot of connectivity going on here, just the basics supplied by the
Intel H67 chipset.
Next to the front panel IO headers are two 6Gb/s SATA III ports (blue)
and three 3Gb/s SATA II jacks (black/red). An additional eSATA port is located at
the rear I/O. RAID 0/1/5/10 can be configured across any of these ports.
The Intel H67 Express chipset is cooled with a very small passive
aluminum heatsink. On this particular motherboard we can see that the
H67 chipset is an Engineering Sample (ES).
