Inside the BIOS:
Biostar provides an exhaustive set of BIOS options
with its TH67XE motherboard that allow users to control
how the motherboard communicates with peripherals, IGP graphics and so forth. Unfortunately, overclocking options are pretty much
absent from this UEFI BIOS.
In the video options we can change the amount of memory
assigned to the IGP, from 128MB and 256MB.
Processor options are pretty much limited to
whether Intel Turbo Boost is enabled, or not.
CPU idle state can be set between a couple different power states, depending on
how much electricity you wish the PC to consume when it's left alone. Biostar's
motherboards have always had a pretty good set of features, it's just that
the Intel H67, by design, doesn't support much in the way of overclocking. Some memory
settings are also available.
Total system power draw and Test system specs are up next, then it's onto the
benchmarks!
