On the
whole, PCMark Vantage positions the 256GB Samsung SSD well. There is no sense in
comparing these results to desktop SSDs... but we should mention that from power
off to Windows 7 desktop takes about 9-10 seconds. Going into Hibernation mode
is ~3 seconds, coming out of hibernation is less than 1 second.

The AS SSD
benchmark determines the performance of Solid State Drives (SSD). AS SSD
benchmark is made specifically to test SSD performance. It is a synthetic
benchmark that gauges bandwidth and latency speeds for solid state disks. Higher
bandwidth (MB/s) is better, lower latencies (ms) are better.

Windows 7 x64 is installed to a 256GB Samsung
MZMPC256HBGJ SSD in the Samsung NP900X4C-A02 ultrabook. AS SSD gives us a true
measure of the SSDs performance, placing it very well with a Sequential Read
result of 459MB/s, Sequential Write value of 253.79MB/s and slightly higher than
expected Read 4k-64 Third result of 284.47MB/s
These results are competitive against SATAIII OCZ Verex 3 and SanDisk Extreme SSDs PCSTATS has recently reviewed.
