The OSD (on screen display) for the Acer 99sl is typical of the menu's coming onto the market these days. No frilly graphics, just bluescreen blue and greenscreen green backgrounds with standard ISO icons to depict the various settings which can be adjusted should they require it. All monitor options are controlled from within a small onscreen display menu using two function keys on the front bezel of the monitor.

Attempting to alter all of these settings by the old-fashioned blinking LED's would just be insane, and the monitor would have a control panel that rivaled a 747!

Again the controls on the front of the panel are as follows: i-key, brightness/contrast, power, and two function keys.
