I've been using this mouse pad for a few
days now and find that the rough side works much better for my
antiquated Logitec scrolling ball mouse. I also tried it with a Microsoft
Intellimouse Optical, and found the smooth side of the mouse surface gave the
best performance for it. Since the optical doesn't need any stiction with the
surface, a smoother platform simply means that mouse flies like a bat out of
hell!
All in all we've been super impressed with the Func
Surface 1030 mouse pad. From the cool tin it ships in, to the little touches
like the mouse clip (tip: install that clip or it will easily get lost on you!)
to the heavy rubber backing which keeps it in place, I'd have to say this is
about as advanced as a mouse pad can get!
So, with this in mind, and
taking into account the superb packaging, design, performance, and economical cost of the Func Surface 1030
