Now as it seems you would think that the cooler isn't what is made up to be, but in fact it is that and much more. With the original HSF I could not even attain a Windows 98 desktop let alone get past the splash screen. That is what I call a HUGE leap in performance from my celeron. I think that primarily although heat could be a factor, (which I doubt) overall the quality of the Celeron is my limiting factor. Even if I could get my system up and running at 500mhz my network would be defunct because my little Netgear FA310TX card cannot handle the high clock speed. Raw power is nice to have, but when you want to LAN it up on the weekend compatibility and stability are the first priority. The 3DCoolDouble Whammy Celeron Cooler says what it claims to do and more. Sure, your first argument was that I couldn't get it up to 500mhz, well I would rather be stable at 450mhz with a cooled system then pushing the limits until eventually it becomes the straw that broke the Abit BH6's back. So that said I think that this Celeron cooler would be great in any case that is looking for a low cost upgrade to that current heatsink / fan combo.
