As for the BIOS, it's the standard Award BIOS
we've all become accustom to. Posted below are the "interesting" screen shots for the
system monitoring, memory page, and frequency and voltage controls.
Overall, the BIOS is very
well laid out and features many options to let you tweak to
to your hearts content. Still it's not without one major fault as there is no way to change
the VIO voltage. To be honest, I don't think it really hampered my attempts
at overclocking, but we'll never know for sure will we?
As for overclocking, with everything in the BIOS set
at the most aggressive settings, I was able to hit 170 MHz FSB! As for POSTing, I was
able to go as high as 175 MHz, however I got the infamous Blue
Screen Of Death when I tried to load up Windows.
I tried, and I tried, but sorry guys, no luck.
I just couldn't get the system to load higher 170 MHz FSB.
Heck, that's still not too shabby in and of itself!
