The 240T measures 620x483x228mm and so a lot of desk space is taken up
by the unit and by its two speakers (which can be removed and set on
X-shaped aluminum-looking stands). In the side profile image to the right,
you can see the mounts used to hold the speakers in place. The only
down side to these clips is that for the speakers to be free standing, and
look good, the little clips have to be unscrewed. The chances of loosing
the special chrome plated hardware is pretty high...

Normally, most consumers are little interested with the rear of a
display - after all it is the picture quality which is most important.
While that is true, when it comes to LCD's, there are few key things we
all need to watch out for. The first of which is mounting points for an
armature or wall bracket. The 240T is compatible with 100mm VESA mounting
plates so it can be raised up on a sturdy stand, or to a wall for
zero footprint operation. The stand does come off once four particular
screws are removed, so it won't be necessary to leave it dangling in the
air. :)
Next up in the list of things to look out for is the all important
Kensington Lock hole. Kensington locks are used to secure things like
laptop's and expensive LCD's from theft, and it is a good measure to add if
you happen to work in a open workplace. There are bunch of connectors for
various things, but we'll get to that in a moment or two.
