I really like those onboard power and reset buttons, they certainly make the life of any computer enthusiast/tweaker much easier. There are also a three LED's which tell you exactly what's going on with the motherboard.

The reference motherboard is not available to the public, but from our standpoint it is interesting to see all the connectors and ports mixed up and placed in odd locations. All motherboards being sold in the retail shops must conform to the ATX spec which governs where certain connectors and headers can be located.

Motherboard manufacturers rarely deviate to any significant degree from the ATX standards, so it is something of a treat for us to test out a reference board where the manufacturer has simply placed everything in the most convenient location for the stability of the motherboard and chipset.
