AOpen A600 Aluminum ATX Case Review
AOpen has
been building computer cases for as long as I can remember, in fact when I think
of my very first non-generic case, the AOpen HQ08, I still get a warm feeling inside.
AOpen puts as much time and effort into designing their cases as they
do everything else in their diverse product line, so we've always had pretty positive experiences looking back.
The
reason the company can do this while still building motherboards, videocards,
small form factor PCs and countless other products is that AOpen is
actually a collection of about 40 smaller companies manufacturing products under the umbrella of the AOpen name.
Meaning, there is much more focus on each particular product group than you
might typically find from a manufacturer that tries to focus on too many products outside their specialty.
The thing
I like most about AOpen products is that they rely on good ole workmanship
to sell their wares, instead of relying on cheap gimmicks. No tacky chrome plating or plastic ducts here,
just tasteful and innovative features that the end user will come to
appreciate with use over time.
The new all-aluminum AOpen A600 case is a
prime example of AOpen engineering; an elegant design combined with a quality build. What more
could you really want?
The A600 includes a 350W power supply standard, but for those of you with
beefier systems, you may want to swap that PSU out for something a bit bigger
on the wattage scale.
