AquaMark3 is a powerful tool to determine reliable
information about the gaming performance of a computer system. Because the
benchmark extensively utilizes DirectX9, DirectX8 and DirectX7 functionality, it
represents the requirements of typical gaming applications in 2003 and
2004.
In
AquaMark3 the Gigabyte GV-NV57U128D trails Asus Radeon A9600XT at stock speeds,
but when overclocked it performs close to that of the ATi Radeon 9700 Pro.
Gun Metal
2 is one of the first games that will be taking advantage of DirectX 9
technology. According to Gun Metal 2, 2x AA is enabled by default on all videocards and the listed
framerates are average.
Gun Metal
2 is based on DX9, and here we see that the Gigabyte G-NV57U128D is head and
shoulders faster than the Asus Radeon A9600XT - very impressive. Overclocked,
the card performs faster than the ATi Radeon 9700 Pro too.
No
videocard offers good frame rates at 1600x1200, but the Gigabyte GV-NV57U128D
does not fall as quickly as its competition.
