Content Creation Winstone 2004 is a system-level, application-based benchmark that measures a PC's overall performance when running top, Windows-based, 32-bit, content creation applications in Windows XP. Business Winstone 2004 runs real applications through a series of scripted activities and uses the time a PC takes to complete these activities to produce its performance scores.

Scores in the Winstone 2004 benchmark are very close between our different test platforms, and it's nice to see that the AOpen i915Pa-PLF does not fall behind.

We were a bit surprised to see relatively low numbers in the graphics portion of Winbench99 from the AOpen i915Pa-PLF. We hope this does not translate into lower 3D performance! We'll see how the board fares in our gaming benchmarks a little further on.
