3DMark05 is the latest version of the highly favoured 3DMark graphics benchmarking series. It is the first benchmark to require DirectX®9.0 compliant hardware with support for Pixel Shader 2.0 or higher.

3DMark05 is a very intensive videocard benchmark so it's no surprise that the overall score is close no matter the platform. The K8N Neo3-F does pull off a very respectable overall score though. In the CPU test the K8N Neo3-F scored better than its Socket 754 counterparts.

Comanche 4	Source: Novalogic

The Comanche 4 benchmark demo is a unique test as it represents a real-world gaming experience. It contains the single player "Eagle's Talon" mission from the game as well as a detailed cinematic. This DirectX 8.1 benchmark demo will measure your system's performance in the standard frames per second format. The benchmark was run with audio disabled.

Comanche 4 numbers are what we'd expect, and again the K8N Neo3-F was slightly faster than the other Socket 754 platforms in the test group.
