Benchmarks: 3DMark05, Comanche 4, UT2003
3DMark05 is
the latest version of the highly favoured 3DMark series. It is the first
benchmark to require a DirectX®9.0 compliant hardware with support for Pixel
Shaders 2.0 or higher!

3DMark05 is a very videocard heavy benchmark but in the
CPU portion of the test it's amazing to see the air cooled Athlon64 3700+ @ 2.81
GHz outperform the Athlon64 3500+ @ 3.05 GHz! That L2 cache really helps.
The
Comanche 4 benchmark demo is a unique benchmark as it represents a real-world
gaming experience. It contains the single player "Eagle's Talon" mission from
the game as well as a detailed cinematic. This DirectX 8.1 benchmark demo will
measure your system's performance in the standard frames per second format. The
benchmark was run with audio disabled.

Comanche 4 showed some serious improvements due to
overclocking. Again we see the benefits of a larger L2 cache, and when
overclocked with the Prometeia, nothing can catch the Athlon64 3700+.

Unreal
Tournament 2003 is the sequel to 1999's multiple 'Game of the Year' award
winner. It uses the very latest Unreal Engine technology - where graphics, sound and game play are
taken beyond the bleeding edge. Unreal Tournament 2003 employs the use of Vertex
as well as Pixel Shaders and it's recommended that you use a DirectX 8 videocard
to get the most out of the game.
