Winstone
2004 |

Business Winstone 2004 runs real applications through a
series of scripted activities and uses the time a PC takes to complete these
activities to produce its performance scores.
Business
applications and overclocking clearly do not mix. The performance boost due to
increased memory frequency is marginal at best. The Patriot Memory PDC1G5600ELK
memory was overclocked to 337MHz with 3-5-5-9 timings.

Sandra is
designed to test the theoretical power of a complete system as well as the
individual components. The results are also purely theoretical and may not
represent real world performance.

SiSoft
Sandra is able to detect increased bandwidth due to overclocking, hopefully that
translates into better 3D numbers.
PCMark04
is an application-based benchmark and a premium tool for measuring overall PC
performance. It uses portions of real applications instead of including whole
applications or using specifically created code. This allows PCMark04 to
maintain a smaller installation size while still giving accurate results.

PCMark04 numbers are very good, and it is nice to see a
decent boost in memory scores due to overclocking.
