FEAR is
Sierra's latest first person shooter which relies heavily on DirectX 9 features.
With its "Soft Shadows" feature enabled, even the fastest videocards run at a
crawl, FEAR is definitely the new benchmark for future FPS games to
follow.

We're definitely very pleasantly surprised at how quick
the AMD Sempron 3600+ is in the Prime95+FEAR tests. In fact the budget processor
is nipping on the heals of the Athlon64 X2 5000+ which is dual core and much
more expensive. Not too bad at all for a budget processor!
