The SuperPi results are certainly interesting to take
note of. For those of you who want to upgrade slowly, a P965 Express based
motherboard like the Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 with a standard Pentium D
processor won't have much impact. But if you slap in a Core 2 Duo E6600 like
PCSTATS has used here then you're bound to see a significant drop in the time it
takes to complete this benchmark. AMD is left in the dust in this test... and
the Pentium D rounds out things with the longest of all times. In SuperPi, lower
times are best.
