The MSI NX7950GX2 videocard in all its glory. The dual slot Geforce 7950GX2 occupies two bracket spaces, but only one PCI Express x16 slot. There are two DVI monitor connectors only, not four as you might expect from two "stacked" videocards. The stock heatsinks scale up to meet increased heat demand with slightly higher noise levels. By and large, the PWM fans manage to keep noise levels in check.

The MSI NX7950GX2-T2D1GE supports a total of two monitors as well as an array of TV output options which include S-Video, Component and HDMI. It should also be noted that the NX7950GX2-T2D1GE is HDCP compatible so it will work with next generation High Definition videos. There are two GPUs, so there are naturally two VGA heatsinks. Each fan uses PWM to keep noise in check with the temperature levels of the graphics cores. The videocard requires extra power via a single six-pin 12V connector. MSI recommends the PC be equipped with a power supply of at least 400W in size, and with a minimum of 27A on the 12V rail.
