PCMark05 is a premium tool for measuring both normal home use and simple 3D performance of the latest PC hardware. There are 11 system tests - each one is designed to represent a certain type of PC usage. By running these tests, PCMark05 stresses the components in a similar manner as they are stressed in normal home usage.

PCMark05 results place the ECS G33T-M2 in a good light, especially its memory performance. HDD results are actually lower than most of the other integrated motherboards, which is a surprise.

The onboard GMA X3100 is not much of an onboard videocard, it scores lower than the GeForce 7050PV and AMD 690G chipsets even though it has a faster processor backing it up. When a GeForce 8800GTS videocard is installed the ECS motherboard really starts to fly.
