VESA wall mounting plate is included in the package, but at least the Syncmaster 940UX can
be mounted to LCD arms with ease. LCD monitors which are integrated with
the base always seem somewhat counter productive.
The LCD panel tilts back about 25-30 degrees, and down about the same
amount. The gooseneck support stand allows for about 3" of vertical
adjustment to satisfy users of different heights.
The base
has in integrated lazy-suzan in it. The entire screen and base rotate effortlessly to the left
or right 360 degrees. The only limitation being the power, video and USB
cables coming out the back of the 940UX, otherwise you could just keep
spinning it around and around.
The base
has enough weight to it that when you're adjusting the height of the
screen, the 940UX it doesn't lift up or slide
all over the place. Furthermore, while the entire screen and base rotate, the bottom plate that
makes contact with the table top remains fixed. In other words, the Syncmaster 940UX won't
scratch your desk when you rotate the screen to show a colleague
something.
