The stand
that ships with the Syncmaster 275T is adjustable, and can be removed easily if you
choose to mount the 27" monitor onto a wall mount, LCD armature, or fixture. A mounting plate that is
200x100mm VESA compatible is required.
While the
screen may be a little thicker than it first appears, this allows the Syncmaster 275T to mount
flush against a wall while allowing room for cables, power cords and adequate ventilation. Along with the
connectors is a Kensington lock port.
The Syncmaster 275T monitor doesn't use a power brick,
the 120VAC power cord plugs right into the display. A hard power switch
allows the Syncmaster 275T to be completely turned off, if for example you are
concerned about phantom power draw. The power button on the front of the screen
sets the display into a soft-power off mode that consumes about 1W.
Aside from the power socket, this 27" LCD display accepts
the following inputs; DVI (HDCP compliant), analog VGA, composite RCA
video, S-Video, Component input (at side), and one USB upstream connector
to power the USB hub built into the display (four USB2.0 ports in total).
The Audio Power DC power jack is for an optional set of speakers Samsung
sell for this monitor.
