Mol Dyn:
Molecular Dynamics is a method for simulating the thermodynamic behaviour of
materials using their forces, velocities, and positions. Most important of the
afore mentioned is the force. Primordia: This code calculates the Quantum
Mechanical Hartree-Fock Orbital for each electron in any element of the periodic
table lower times indicate better results.
Lower
calculation times are better.

Sciencemark can't make use of two cores on the Athlon II
X4 620, and the processor's 2.6GHz clockspeed and lack of L3 cache means that it
doesn't do as well as processors with higher clockspeeds. The Athlon II X4 620
posts the slowest compute time for Mol Dyn and Primordia tests, of all
processors PCSTATS has tested.

ScienceMark's Primordia test tends to favor AMD
processors, but the Athlon II X4 620 still doesn't do particularly well here.
The results in Windows 7 are again, nearly identical to Windows Vista.

This
command generates random data, which contain specially introduced redundancy
increasing load to processor and memory. Then data are passed through RAR
compression and decompression algorithms and output of decompression algorithm
is compared with source data. If any difference found, WinRAR reports "Errors
found - Yes" in the command window. Also WinRAR displays a size of processed
data and compression speed, current and resulting, in kilobytes per second. You
may use the resulting speed value to compare RAR performance in different
conditions.
Higher
results are better.

WinRAR scales to multiple cores, but it also relies
heavily on threads communicating with one another. Unlike the other quad-core
processors here (and the triple-core Phenom II X3 720), the Athlon II X4 620
doesn't have L3 cache. This cuts the Athlon II X4 620's performance down to
slightly below that of the Phenom II X3 720.

WinRar's internal benchmark scores tend to fluctuate a
lot between runs (due to the mechanical nature of hard drive caching), so don't
read too much into the differences here between Windows 7 and Windows Vista
scores.
