SYSmark 2007 is an application-based benchmark that reflects usage patterns of business users in the areas of Video creation, E-learning, 3D Modeling and Office Productivity. This new release includes a robust and refreshed set of applications. The new release also incorporates numerous new features and enhancements such as an improved GUI allowing streamlined start-up and run along with a heads-up-display (HUD) and automated error reporting. Higher results are better.

Sysmark 2007 results are off to a shaky start for the Athlon II X4 620 CPU, which comes in towards the bottom of the processors tested here. While the Athlon II X4 620's low overall score was due to poor scores in E-learning and Productivity tests, the CPU did exceptionally well in Video Creation, one of the primary applications considered ideal for multi-core processors.

SysMark 2007 under Windows 7 reflects strangely on the $99 Athlon II X4 620 processor - it's in a dead heat with the Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition CPU which can't be right....
