Some decent results here. The Sony VAIO VGN-T140P does well in
the business disk test. The graphics results are decent considering the weak video
processor.

BatteryMark 4.0.1 tests the
lifespan of a laptop's battery by cycling through a battery of tests designed to
stress the processor, disk and graphics subsystems. The benchmark indicates, in
hours, minutes and seconds, how long a laptop's battery can be expected to last
with moderate to intense usage at full brightness.

The Sony VAIO VGN-T140P
managed a decent 233 minutes in our battery life test, just shy of four hours.
This translates to good news for those of you who want to watch that Lord of the
Rings extended edition on the road.

| Sandra is designed to test the
theoretical power of a complete system and individual components. The numbers
taken though are again, purely theoretical and may not represent real world
performance. Higher numbers represent better performance.

Good results here from the
powerful little Pentium M ultra-low voltage processor inside this Sony laptop.
The new Dothan processors do a lot with a little, and this benchmark shows
it.
