SLI operation provides a huge performance increase
again, boosting both our test cards up to a level close to that of the Radeon
X800XT! The plain vanilla Albatron 6600 card suffers in this demanding benchmark
while the higher clocked Albatron 6600U and ASUS Extreme cards do passably well.
As we've seen in previous comparison tests, the Radeon X700 chip loses its
slight performance advantage over the 6600GT as resolution increases. Faster
memory leaves the Gigabyte GV-3D1 at the top again.
