Winstone 2004 runs real applications through a series of scripted activities and
uses the time a PC takes to complete these activities to produce its performance
scores.
Content
Creation Winstone 2004 is a system-level, application-based benchmark that
measures a PC's overall performance when running top, Windows-based, 32-bit,
content creation applications in Windows XP.

The MSI Mega mPC 945 SFF PC does fairly well
in the Office Productivity tests as well, although Business Winstone 2004
numbers are a hair lower than expected.

The memory
bandwidth figures, and the performance of the MSI Mega mPC 945 system in general
are very good here in SiSoft Sandra. Size definitely doesn't affect system
performance when the onboard integrated Intel GMA950 videocard will get you
by.
SuperPI
calculates the number PI to 1 Million digits in this raw number crunching
benchmark. The program allows the user to change the number of digits of PI that
can be calculated from 16 thousand to 32 million. Our benchmark is set to 1
Million digits and 19 iterations.

Super Pi numbers rely heavily on memory bandwidth and CPU
performance, both of which are present with the MSI MEGA mPC 945 and the Intel
Pentium D 840 processor used for testing. An Intel Core
2 Duo processor would posted even quicker results.
