take advantage of AMD's TurboCore feature. With an average performance boost of
around 11%. With TurboCore enabled the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T is the fastest
processor in the Primordia test, and is just behind the Intel Core i7 and Core
i5 processors in the Mol Dyn benchmark.

This
command generates random data, which contain specially introduced redundancy
increasing load to processor and memory. Then data are passed through RAR
compression and decompression algorithms and output of decompression algorithm
is compared with source data. If any difference found, WinRAR reports "Errors
found - Yes" in the command window. Also WinRAR displays a size of processed
data and compression speed, current and resulting, in kilobytes per second. You
may use the resulting speed value to compare RAR performance in different
conditions.

WinRAR scales to stress all processor cores, so the AMD
Phenom II X6 1090T stays at a maximum speed of 3.2GHz and achieves the same
results whether TurboCore is enabled or disabled. With six cores to work with,
the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T manages to best the Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
even though the latter has a faster native clock speed.
