Quake III Arena is a First Person Shooter (FPS)
that revolutionized gaming as we know it. Using multiple light sources and
having graphics textures that can fill videocards, even after 3 years it's still
able to bring a cutting edge system to its knees.
At
1024x768 we see some interesting results. In the overall system tester (demo001)
we see that the ECS AG400 is faster then the GeForce4 MX440 but using the CPU
tester (nv15demo) we see that the T&L engine on the ECS AG400 is still immature. It holds the CPU back quite a
bit when you compare to the other cards.
