First, right click on 'network neighborhood' and click 'properties.' You need to
make sure that both of your network adaptors have the following entries: NetBEUI -> (yourcardname)
TCP-IP ->
(yourcardname).
If they are not present you will need to add them using the
'add' button, then 'protocol' then either NetBEUI or TCP-IP. Reboot the computer if
prompted.
On the computer you wish to make your gateway, go to
my computer/control panel and open the Add/Remove Programs icon, then choose
the 'Windows Setup' tab. Highlight 'internet tools' and click 'details' Put a checkmark
next to the first item, Internet Connection Sharing. Click Ok, and then Ok
again.
You will need the Windows 98SE CD to install the
component.
