Biostar K8NHA-Pro: NVidia nForce3 Athlon64
motherboards are expected to arrive a little later in the month then the VIA
K8T800 motherboards. The socket 754 Biostar K8NHA-Pro utilizes the all-in-one
nForce3 150 core logic chipset (north and south bridges combined), and features
SATA, GbE LAN, AGP8X, 6-channel Audio, USB2.0, firewire, features IDE RAID options.
Biostar K8NHA-M: Another microATX version
from Biostar, the NVidia nForce3 based K8NHA-M is a socket 754 Athlon 64 board
with all the goodies you'd expect, just in a smaller footprint. The board
utilizes the all-in-one nForce3 150 core logic chipset (north and south bridges
combined), and features SATA, 10/100 LAN, AGP8X, 6-channel Audio, USB2.0, and firewire.
Chaintech
AK8T800: Chaintech have burst onto North American markets over the last
year, so it is not surprising to see a well equipped socket 754 Athlon64
motherboard based on the VIA K8T800 and VT8237 chipsets from them. The
AK8T800 operates with a 800MHz FSB and supports up to three DIMMs of DDR400
memory. The board packs in AGP8X, five PCI slots, 5.1channel audio, 10/100 LAN,
ATA133 and SATA150 RAID. Personally, I just like the flashy gold plating on
every bit of exposed metal, but that's just me.
