Unreal Tournament 2003 is the sequel to 1999's multiple 'Game of the Year' award winner. It uses the very latest Unreal Engine technology - where graphics, sound and game play are taken beyond the bleeding edge. Unreal Tournament 2003 employs the use of Vertex as well as Pixel Shaders and it's recommended that you use a DirectX 8 videocard to get the most out of the game.

UT2003 is pretty easy on the Gigabyte GV-NX66T128D videocard, gamers will absolutely love the silky smooth framerates!

Bright times ahead for the 6600GT!

Gigabyte has done an awesome job with the GV-NX66T128D. It's not just a fast mainstream videocard, it's also very affordable with a retail price of about $223 CDN ($189 US.

The card's performance in the benchmarks was generally great, routinely outrunning the previous generation's high-end cards in most of PCstats benchmarks. At resolutions up to 1024x768, the Gigabyte GV-NX66T128D can even put up a good fight against the current flagship cards! Turning up the resolution to 1600x1200 and turning on anti aliasing and/or anisotropic filtering slows things down quite a bit, though performance should still be easily good enough for the average gamer. Without AA/AF, the GV-NX66T128D showed excellent sustained performance at the higher resolutions.

We also liked the fact that the Gigabyte GV-NX66T128D is an SLI compatible solution, and we can't wait until compatible boards come onto the market so we can test this feature further. Overclocking was not the GV-NX66T128D's strong suit, but that's ok. We were able to hit a maximum of 583 MHz core and 1.13 GHz memory individually, but together we could only clock them at 568 MHz/1.07 GHz. The card showed a decent performance boost in most benchmarks when overclocked, but not all.

You get a lot with this videocard for the price, and if you've jumped the gun and gone PCI Express, the Gigabyte GV-NX66T128D is definitely a card to consider. There are faster cards on the market, but not all match the GV-NX66T128D's "value" quotient!
