Gigabyte's GA-X79-UD5
motherboard and Intel Core i7 3820 processor mark the first PCSTATS
platform to be tested under Sysmark 2012, a native 64-bit system benchmark from
Bapco.
Sysmark is a
system-level benchmark comprising a dozen or so applications which are used in a
real world context, with pauses and intensive periods over the course of three
hours. An overal Sysmark 2012 score of 215
is quite good, judging by the results we've seen posted on other
review sites.
Sysmark 2007 is coming
up next - plenty of comparison test systems for this benchmark.
