Unreal
Tournament 2003 is the sequel to 1999's multiple 'Game of the Year' award
winner. It uses the very latest Unreal Engine technology - where graphics, sound
and game play are taken beyond the bleeding edge. Unreal Tournament 2003 employs
the use of Vertex as well as Pixel Shaders and it's recommended that you use a
DirectX 8 videocard to get the most out of the game.

In Unreal
Tournament 2003, we see what you might already have been anticipating.... The
results are tangible, but not particularly impressive over that of the Athlon64
3800+. The VIA chipset seems to hold a slight advantage over the Nvidia NF3, and
overclocking reaps substantial benefits!

The newest
Unreal Engine can put a hurting on CPUs, so we were pleased to see the Athlon64
4000+ respond to the challenge with gusto. All the results were as you'd expect
here, with the Athlon64 4000+ platforms holding a slight edge over the Athlon64
3800+ chip (due to the boost provided by the extra level 2 cache memory).
Intel's Pentium 4 540 brings up the rear in this gaming benchmark.
