CINEBENCH 2003 is the free benchmarking tool for Windows and Mac OS based on the powerful 3D software CINEMA 4D RX. The tool is set to deliver accurate benchmarks by testing not only a computer's raw processing speed but also all other areas that affect system performance such as OpenGL, multithreading, and multiprocessors

Cinebench 2003 is a demanding benchmark that tests the processor's ability to render complex ray-traced scenes, hardware and software OpenGL, and more. The Athlon 64 4000+ has a mathematical power which comes to the fore during this test suite, especially when overclocked. There is no real advantage for the Athlon64 4000+ over the Athlon64 3800+ though.

The poor results shown by the K8T800/Athlon 64 4000+ combination on the C4D and OpenGL tests are surprising. The Nvidia NF3 chipset has a clear advantage here on these computationally heavy benchmarks. The Intel Pentium 4 540's hyperthreading feature allows it to clean up the dual-CPU and OpenGL speedup benchmarks.
