The Comanche 4 benchmark demo is a unique benchmark as
it represents a real-world gaming experience. It contains the single player
"Eagle's Talon" mission from the game as well as a detailed cinematic. This
DirectX 8.1 benchmark demo will measure your system's performance in the
standard frames per second format. The benchmark was run with audio
disabled.

Unreal Tournament 2003 is the sequel to 1999's multiple
'Game of the Year' award winner. It uses the very latest Unreal Engine
technology - where graphics, sound and game play are taken beyond the bleeding
edge. Unreal Tournament 2003 employs the use of Vertex as well as Pixel Shaders
and it's recommended that you use a DirectX 8 videocard to get the most out of
the game.

The extra graphical power of the ATI Radeon X700 GPU
allows the Acer Ferrari 4005 WLMi to pull away in the high-resolution flyby
test. Otherwise UT2003 is incapable of differentiating between the two
highest-powered notebooks in the test grouping.
Doom 3 is the most advanced game to date. it takes advantage of the latest videocard technology and pushes the processing power of the CPU to its absolute limit. At its highest setting, Ultra quality, texture sizes pass the 500MB mark which means even tomorrow's videocards will have a hard time running everything. The frame rates in the game itself are locked at 60 fps so anything above that point is wasted. Each test is run three times with the third run being recorded.

In our final and most demanding benchmark, the Acer
Ferrari 4005 WLMi posts some great results; 43FPS in HQ high resolution DOOM3 is
a great score for a notebook. Doom3 is easily playable on this notebook at
640x480, and even 1024x768 with decent framerates.
