Tilt the LCD screen panel up so you
have clear access to reconnect the data cable.
Carefully slide the data cable into the connector on the
replacement LCD screen panel.
Push one end of the connector into the socket with a
small tool - we used the edge of a small screw driver.
Move to the other side of the connector cable and push it
home.
When properly installed, two small holes on either
side of the female half of the 40-pin connector will be filled by metal
dots from the male connector section. Once you're confident the cable is inserted
fully, re-attach the clear plastic sticker across the connector joint and
then fold down the ends of the black fiber tape.
